At Candid Stories, we make an art of capturing your child's unique personality and style using a candid approach that allows our camera to capture the unique nature of your child. Our photography can be best described as un-posed and unplanned and mostly unobtrusive specializing in the various stages of development from pregnancy to childhood with our true passion being children. Our style is in contrast to most photographers approach which include carefully staged portrait photography. Our Candid approach during the entire shoot catches moments of life that focuses on your childs spontaneity rather than posed techniques, we believe in the concept of a camera within the event rather than focusing on setting up a staged situation or fairy tale props. Our concept is a simple one, Children are happiest at play and isn't it the natural smiles, and pouty faces that they can be famous for and that you truly want to remember years from now. We think you will agree that our fresh approach is what truly represents who your child is and not the forced, "Sit here, smile approach used by most studios today
With that in mind we meet you at the location of your choice; from your home, a park or even the beach, wherever is the most meaningful to you and your child. Our cameras then go to work capturing the essence of your Childs personality or the relationships within the family as they play and explore to their hearts content. We generally photograph for a little more than an hour. During that time your child can relax and forget why we are even there. We always take our cues from them, especially when they are done, they'll be sure to let us know. We will capture as many images as necessary to provide you with photographs you will treasure for a lifetime

Candid Stories introduces a candid element into our family Portaits. We encourage a choice of locations and poses that reflect personalities and style. This can be downtown, at a park or even at home. When it comes to kids, home is great because of the comfort factor but that doesn’t mean they will have the most fun there. For family photography, The Woodlands and surrounding areas are great for location portraits. Once on location we do our best to loosen the family and lighten the mood, That’s when our Candid style really comes into play and one of a kind portraits are made.

At Candid Stories, we are professional
animal photographers in addition to being a strong
supporter of animal rescue programs. Our focus is always
on capturing the expressions and intimate moods of your
treasured furry family members. We always try to go to
where they are most comfortable and see the world from
their point of view. We photograph on-location at your
home or Local Park, indoors and out. Our Pet Photography
was born out of love for animals and our joy of
photography. Our goal is to catch those CANDID shots
that every pet owner will recognize as “the look” . . .
the cat behind the screen looking out, the subtle tilt
to the head or the lift of a paw. Through patience and
persistence, we strive to capture unique, artful images
that you’ll cherish now and forever. Whether they're
cute or ferocious, you’ll want to immortalize your
family pet on canvas. Don't worry if your Poodle,
Chihuahua, Horse or even Iguana is camera shy, these
little devils can't escape Candid Story photographers!
